No. It is not all you can eat.
For dinner probably $20-50 per person depending on drinks...
8 people if they are in your group they wont sit strangers together at all
You get one when you pay. You can go to the restaurant and ask if they can print you out a copy of what you ordered.
No, but it's less waiting if you do.
They do sometimes but there have been several times that they were not taking reservations like on Valentine's day.
They use the steak cuts from a standard beef cow. If you want waygu you should try High Noon in old town.
Yes they do

This was the first place we have eaten at since the whole COVID-19. They did an amazing job making sure we felt safe and comfortable. Most important the food was still amazing!
Went during covid and they followed every rule to a tee. Great food and people who work there.
We always love the entertainment and the staff. Best place in Albuquerque for Japanese food. See you on the other side of the quarantine.
My first habachi ever! What a great experience I had at this please. Super delicious and flavorful food. Nice service. Very clean restaurant. Our cook was funny and super entertaining. I made a lot of memories with my work team, and had a great time. The way they cook people's orders are so unique in their own way. You really pay for what you get, and what I got was extremely delicious. I highly recommend it.
Everything was absolutely delicious. I had the Super Dragon roll. I really liked the presentation. My date had the steak and it was cooked to perfection as well. The dining atmosphere was well lit and the staff was very polite. We will be visiting often!
Awesome place to eat! I loved it! Not only does the chef p put on a good show but the food is excellent! I definitely recommend this place to eat!
Went for a birthday celebration with 7 people. Food was excellent. Chef was great. The manager was rude and insisted on squeezing an extra two people from another party at the table, even though it made for a very tight fit. Also, prepare for the waitstaff to ask you to move from the table (to a “lounge area”) as soon as you sign your credit card slip.
Japanese kitchen is always good every time I have ever been there. It can be a bit pricey but it is worth every penny. The tepan side is a great show with expertly cooked food. The sushi side is full of delicacies. If you are in the correct season the black cod is an absolute must. All in all, I always look forward to going to Japanese kitchen!
Food quite good, but the highlight of the experience was the service. I went there with my autistic son for his birthday who broke both of his legs last week, and he was having a meltdown because his ‘friends’ ditched him to go play basketball. A waiter who was a gentleman, Kai Lee, although he was super busy, he came over to refill our drinks and took time to calm my son down and made him super happy. It made his entire day, and put a smile on my face as well. Usually my son doesn’t eat food and just plays around but yesterday he ate the whole dish!Thank you Kai, if your reading this! This young man deserves a raise, such a kind and considerate kid.
Anyone posting a bad review obviously had an extremely abnormal experience, if they’re even telling the truth. I have NEVER had a bad experience at the Japanese Kitchen! This restaurant is the most consistently amazing place in all of ABQ, from a very satisfied customer of 20 years. I cannot stress enough that every time you come here you will have an amazing meal with polite and punctual service. You will never regret going to the Japanese Kitchen.
We went for my mothers Birthday! Moms gone but we get together every year! That was her favorite place ❤
It's a fun place! We made reservations, we seated promptly. Our server was quick with our drinks and appetizers and the show was super fun. The portions are huge! And they have a good varied menu with chicken, shrimpr, lobster, filet mignon, etc. They serve rice, noodles and veggies. The chef gives a little show while cooking. Loved it and one of my favorite places in Albuquerque.
Best place for Japanese food. U get to see how they cook ur food right in front of u. Highly recommended u come out n try this place. JAPANESE KITCHEN.
The best sushi in Albuquerque. If you are looking for very good sushi, a good variety of non sushi Asian style food and excellent service this is the place. After trying many other places in town I can say that without a doubt this is the very best sushi you will find in New Mexico.
Always so fun to watch the food being cooked. The volcano is always a winner. Food is always great. Sake margarita is delicious.
Went there for sushi/udon with friend (who knows I was on diet). I like almost everything we got here: salmon roll, seafood sushi etc. The only complaint goes to the miso soup, which was too salty. I think the udon soup could be lighter too cause I ended up drinking a lot of water and leftovers. Service was warm and environment was cozy/clean/comfortable. (I’ll go again and try the sashimi sometime and may change back to 5 stars. I’m feeling like 4.5 for now and have too leave a bit room for future edit)
This was a nice organize establishment now after COVID they don’t know how to seat people and the hostess looks like she doesn’t know what to do, it’s crazy.
This place had a very good special on sushi. I got a sushi boat and gyoza as an appetizer. Well worth it for the price and service.
